This thought has been on my heart a lot lately: “I am blessed with every spiritual blessing.” I have everything I need to do what God has called me to do because I am united with Christ. I share resources with Christ.

Now, let’s not over spiritualized this thought. It’s not just about laying hands on the sick or preaching the gospel or leading a home group. I also have every spiritual blessing needed to teach high school math, to parent, to be a wife. Whatever I need – wisdom, strength, knowledge, faith – I have in Him.

It also doesn’t mean that I am an island unto myself. Often, those spiritual blessings come in the form of Godly friends who will hold your hand when you hurt, pray for you when you are sick, challenge you when you forget who you are and encourage you when you lose hope.

I can boldly face whatever task lies ahead of me today because I am blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ!
