Yesterday, as I was driving home, the song, “For Every Mountain “ popped up in my playlist. I imagine the drivers next to me thought I had lost it. My car kept reminding me: “steering is required.”

The song just reminded of how good God has been to me. I was so overwhelmed with God’s goodness and His faithfulness over my life. Every time I feared there wasn’t. enough, He gave in abundance. Every time my heart was heavy, he brought joy. Every time I didn’t know what to do or where to turn, He brought wisdom.

The words of the song are:
For every mountain you brought me over,
Foe every trial you’ve seen me through
For every blessing, Hallelujah
For this I give you praise.

Brothers and sisters, if you feel as if you are in the valley, if you are in a trial, take heart! God is there with you, bringing over, seeing you through. And you will stand on the other side and declare., “He has turned my crying to dancing, clothed me in joy, and I must praise His name.” But don’t wait until you see it with your natural eyes; begin declaring it today. Declare your victory while in the valley. Dance for joy in the midst of the trial. Know by faith, God’s deliverance is on the way. He won’t disappoint.

“You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever!”
