Yesterday we visited St. Joseph’s Oratory, the largest church in Canada. The church is stunning. The statutes, the architectural structure, the stained glass windows all are breathtaking. It is believed Brother Bessette had healing power through his dedication to St. Joseph and many people were healed. There is a display of abandoned crutches as people left healed.

But as I walked through the halls of this beautiful church with visitors from around the world and various religions I so wanted to stand on that stage and preach the gospel. I wanted to say,

“Dear brothers and sisters, Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. He is no longer hanging on the cross. You do not have to go through Saint Joseph or any other saint to reach the Father. Because Jesus is no longer on the cross, because he conquered death, hell, and the grave, you have direct access to the Father. You can go boldly to the throne room of grace.

The same healing power demonstrated by Brother Bessette resides within us if we know Jesus as Savior. We now are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and we are all saints. As such, Jesus has given us authority to heal the sick and drive out demons.

The atoning work of Jesus was finished. It is complete. Behold your resurrected Savior. Know nothing stands between you and the Father. The dividing wall was broken. Go directly to the Father. His healing power is available to all.”

“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭NIV‬‬
