God is a Serial Blesser

It always amazes me how God, in the Old Testament, can be pronouncing a judgment on the people, and then all of a sudden BAM, “A promise of restoration!” I believe the fulfillment of those promises are realized fully in Jesus.

God is a serial “blesser”. He can’t help himself. He is good. He is gracious. He is kind. That’s who He is. That is His character.

Because of the atoning work of Christ, He is no longer pronouncing judgment on us but the promises for restoration remain. So if you are going through a circumstance, if all seems lost, take heart! Restoration is on the way. God, your serial blesser, your serial restorer, eyes are on you.

““The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when the reaper will be overtaken by the plowman and the planter by the one treading grapes. New wine will drip from the mountains and flow from all the hills, and I will bring my people Israel back from exile. “They will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them,” says the Lord your God.”
