It’s Time!

Rebuild the temple. This is what Zerubbabel was charged to do. A daunting task when you consider the splendor and opulence of the original temple. Nonetheless, Zeubbabel began the task. He laid the foundation. But somewhere along the way discouragement set in. He was opposed, the people were apathetic, resources were not available and the rebuilding stop for 12 years.

Has God put something on your heart that seems daunting, beyond your ability, beyond your pay grade? You may have begun but life happened. You may have experienced opposition, the enemy was there to quickly point out your limitations or you got distracted. So, just like Zerubbabel the worked stopped.

But I believe this season, God is calling you to complete the work He has put on your heart. “Be encouraged,” He says, “for it is not by your might nor by your power but by My Spirit it will come to pass. Step out in faith and see what I will do. Do not despise your small beginnings. Trust I will make the mountains plain. Trust my grace.”

FB friends, give God those places in your heart where hopelessness has set in. Those areas where we it seems as if the vision is a million miles away, those areas that you have been petitioning for years. This season, God is bringing it to pass. Shout “Grace, Grace” to your situation because it will be accomplished only by His grace.

“Therefore he told me, “These signify the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by strength and not by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD who rules over all.” “What are you, you great mountain? Because of Zerubbabel you will become a level plain! And he will bring forth the temple capstone with shoutings of ‘Grace! Grace!’ because of this.””
