Let It Rain

I have not been a fan of the dreary days we have had all week. It has even affected my mood. But rain is necessary.  It’s actually biblical.

“”For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater;” (Isaiah‬ ‭55:10‬)

And just as the rain is needed, so is declaring God’s word over our lives. His word waters and prospers our souls. We bear fruit. His word is seed we sow which become bread for our lives and others.

God has given us a great promise: His Word WILL NOT RETURN VOID. It will succeed, it will accomplish, it will prosper where it is sent. So begin to declare God’s word over your life, your ministry, your family, your employment. As we speak His Word we will see mountains moved, bodies healed, marriages restored, children come home.

With the rain this week, I did not physically see a blade of grass as it was growing, but after 4 days of rain, my grass is taller. You may not see an immediate change but know, His Word will accomplish what it is sent to do. Declare his word today and everyday.

“So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.”
