As I mentioned last week, I am juggling four major projects at the moment. By the time last Friday arrived, I was sleep deprived and anxious. These four projects consumed my every thought.
But Friday night, I met with some amazing women and they prayed for me. Saturday, God gave me a word:
“Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.”
Ephesians 3:20 TPTn
The enemy’s tactic had been to wake me up during the night and in my exhaustion tell me how everything was going to fall apart. But after my friends prayed for me and God gave me a scripture, I remembered who I am. I am Supernatural and one of my super powers is peace!
I have peace that passes understanding. I have peace that can walk into a tense situation and calm the fears of those around. I have supernatural peace and so do you!
The enemy woke me up at 3:00 am Monday and started singing his same old song. But this time I had donned myself in my Superhero gear and I used my super power of peace to shut him down. I took out my sword and began telling him who I was. “I am the head and not the tail. Everything I put my hand to succeed. God will do more than I can ask, think, or imagine in these four projects. I am ensconced in Christ and nothing bad will happen to me.” My peace filled the room and sweet sleep came. Over the next two nights, he once again woke me up but as soon as I began to declare who I am, my peace came, anxiety subsided, and sweet sleep came.
Friends, you are a superhero and peace is one of your many super powers. But you have a choice as to whether or not you will walk in it. You get to choose anxiety or peace. Anxiety will paralyze you, keep you in a position of defeat. It gives the enemy a platform in your head. Oh but my superhero friends, when you decide to walk in your super power of peace, you become a force to be reckon with. When the enemy throws his lies at you, your peace allows you to stand firm and walk in your destiny. Your peace changes the atmosphere around you . Others around you will rest in the peace you bring.
My super power is peace and so is yours.
