My True Source

There have been many political ads recently claiming that the average teacher salary is 50k a year. The ads are misleading at best, a lie at worse. In the last four years, new teachers have lost the ability to earn tenure, be compensated for getting their masters, and lost their longevity pay (a yearly bonus for years of service.) Those are the facts.

But the truth is God will supply all of my needs according to His riches in glory. The truth is my source is not nor will it ever be the state of North Carolina. My hope is in God who is able to do exceedingly more than I can ask think or imagine.

So, I have decided not to participate in the state’s cut backs and assault on teachers. I have decided because I am a daughter of the Most High, because my Father has unlimited resources, I will prosper regardless to whoever is elected to state government. I have decided to give my students 100% because my boss and my rewarder is my Father. I have decided I am blessed and I will be a blessing because I am an heir. And I’m going to ask for grace to do it with a happy heart.

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”
