The Challenge Week 4 Day 5

Today is today, all day today. Tomorrow eventually becomes today. The only moment that will never become today is yesterday.

Paul quoting Isaiah declared, “Today (now) is the Day of God’s favor. Today (now) is the day of Salvation. Paul was encouraging us not to minimize the power of God’s grace in our lives. We are co-workers with God All-Mighty. Therefore we can experience God’s grace in every situation in every moment.

Let us not wait for our ministry to become national, our politicians to get it right, our bodies to be healed, our marriage restored, our children to come home, our bank account to overflow before we experience joy, hope, victory, God’s reckless love and extraordinary grace. Today, now, this moment is the day of God’s favor – His acceptance, His approval. Today, now, this moment is the day of He will save- deliver, redeem, set free, prosper, heal, restore.

No matter what today brings, regardless to what your circumstances look like, this is the moment to walk in God’s favor, this is the moment to experience salvation. Today is the day.

“For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭6:2‬ ‭NIV‬‬
