Uncursable

Israel complained against God, questioned His goodness. They refused to go into the promised land. They rebelled against their leader, Moses. But when Balaam is offered riches to curse Israel, the Lord has Balaam say, “no iniquity is found in Israel.” What?

I don’t understand that. But what I do know is that because of the cross, God has declared we are righteous and therefore He sees no iniquity in us. Balak wanted Balaam to pronounce a curse over Israel but God caused him to speak a blessing. Today, the enemy would like nothing better than to pronounce a curse upon us but God is declaring over us the same things He had Balaam speak. Hold onto these promises:

1. God cannot lie. What He has promised us will come to pass.

2. He has blessed us and no one (not even ourselves) can reverse it.

3. He is not looking upon our mistakes. He see us as holy and blameless in Jesus.

4. God is with us.

5. We have the strength of a wild bull.

6. We cannot be cursed. No magic has power over us.

7. We will arise like a lioness, full of majesty and strength.

These promises belong to us. Declare them over your life. Expect to see the fruit of these promises in your life. We are blessed. We are uncursable.

“God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a human being, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not make it happen? Indeed, I have received a command to bless; he has blessed, and I cannot reverse it. He has not looked on iniquity in Jacob, nor has he seen trouble in Israel. The LORD their God is with them; his acclamation as king is among them. God brought them out of Egypt. They have, as it were, the strength of a wild bull. For there is no spell against Jacob, nor is there any divination against Israel. At this time it must be said of Jacob and of Israel, ‘Look at what God has done!’ Indeed, the people will rise up like a lioness, and like a lion raises himself up; they will not lie down until they eat their prey, and drink the blood of the slain.””
