You have everything you need to live a godly life. It was given to you when you said yes to Jesus. God gave us the power to share in His wonderful goodness. His nature has become part of us so that we can escape our evil desires and the corrupt influences of the world.

So do not believe the enemy’s lies that you cannot overcome that addiction, a life of complaining, those oppressive thoughts. God’s nature is part of your DNA.

Because we have been given His nature, we can respond to life’s temptations with goodness, understanding, self-control, patience, devotion to God and unconditional love for others.

This day, let’s choose to demonstrate who we are to the world – sons and daughters with the nature of our Father. Let us be light in the darkness and salt in this world. Let us love the hell out of people. Let us face today knowing we have been given everything we need to live a life of power, love and compassion. We have His nature.
